Randi's living room before and afterBy Randi Gerber

Have you ever eaten dinner at a restaurant that had such a wonderful feel that you just really enjoyed being there? Have you ever been in a day spa that had a serene and calming feel the moment you walked in the door? Have you walked into a quaint shop or boutique that displayed each item for sale in the perfect way?

On the other hand have you been in a or restaurant that was dirty, old, and had no décor? Have you been to a store that was unorganized, messy or dirty, or smelled bad? Think of the contrast of these verses the places above. How did you feel in those places and why?

The reason you feel differently in these environments is the different vibrations of those places. Vibration is a term used to explain the energy something gives off. People have vibration, things have vibration, rooms have vibration, and even cities have vibrations. Everything carries a vibration.

It is interesting that we tend to surround ourselves with people and things that carry a similar vibration to our own - or at least what we are used to. Wealthy people enjoy nice restaurants, five star hotels, and shopping in high end department stores because they carry a vibration that they are comfortable with and that is familiar to them. Think about what is familiar to you.

Where do you vibrate?

The Law of Attraction states that like vibrations attract like vibrations. If you really want to change your life, improve your business, improve your finances, improve your sex life etc., then you must raise your vibration. I have included some very simple tips to help you raise your vibration by raising the vibration of your home and work space.

Below are 10 easy tips that can help you to raise the vibration of your home, home office, or workplace almost instantly.

#1. The most important thing to do to raise the vibration of a room is to keep it clean and orderly. Is your desk cluttered with papers? Have you dusted lately? Can you see the floor? If your home or workspace is in chaos, than your business will follow that vibration.

#2. Adding plants to a room (especially live plants) will raise the vibration of a space almost instantly.

#3. A fresh paint job can cost under $25 and raise the vibration of a room 100%. Natural colors will tend to be the most inviting and the most comfortable, but you can choose colors based upon the look and feel you desire of the room.

#4. Smell is very important as well. A yummy smelling candle or diffused essential oils can also quickly raise the vibration of a space. If your office space smells dirty or like yesterdays left-over food than it is not emitting the vibration you want.

#5. Light is also very important. The sun naturally carries a high vibration. If you can open blinds or curtains and let more light in, it will also raise the vibration of the room.

#6. If your window coverings are old and out of date, make or purchase new ones. You can do this for under $30.

#7. Your furniture should be updated if possible and match the room. If your furniture is stained, full of holes or tears or has an outdated pattern, you will want to update it. If you cannot afford new furniture, at least have it recovered or purchase slip covers. Furniture may need to be painted or restained to raise the vibration as well.

#8. Flooring should be cleaned or vacuumed. You should not have stains on the carpet. If you have orange carpet from the 70’s (like the home I purchased had) you should replace it immediately. It is ugly and unsanitary and will carry a very low vibration. You can put a new floor in a room for around $350-$450.
#9. Hang a few pictures that match the room. Pick pictures that make you feel good. Have pictures of your family out. For a more contemporary look, you can copy them in black and white and put them in a black frame.

#10. Do not over decorate or over clutter a room. Some make the mistake of too much décor, then it just becomes confusing and chaotic. Cluttered rooms will have a similar vibration to a messy room.

The result you see in room photos above took about 3 days. I tore down paneling and applying new texture to all the walls (about $40). I added new sconce lights and a new ceiling fan ($150). We put in a new floor and purchased new rugs ($460). We painted the walls and fireplace. Then I put a glaze on top of the paint to create the look you see ($50). We also built a new mantle around the fireplace using MDF ($50). Window treatments were $108. Lastly, we purchased new furniture for the room. This included 2 end tables, a coffee table, a couch and love seat ($650). We also put in a new pellet stove, which cost around $1600. However, you can purchase and electric fireplace that looks really nice for around $600. Not counting a new fireplace, this room about remodeled totaled about $1560. This was well worth the price to me. I needed a home that would keep my vibration high. (The way the home looked when we purchased it would not do that for me.) We remodeled each room of this of our 2600 sq. foot home for only $25,000 including the furniture. In doing so, we raised the value of the home from $174,000 to $224,000 and raised the vibration of the home at least 500%.

I hope you have been inspired. If you need to raise the vibration of your work space, start making small changes today. You will work more productively and have better results.
